What do I have to do tostart a lawsuit against the City of New York

First you must file a Notice of Claim against the City of New York, within 90 days, or as soon thereafter as reasonably practicable. After a notice of claim is filed a 50 h hearing will be set up by the City of New York where a claimant is asked about how there accident occurred and what damage they suffered.  A  lawsuit must them be served and filed within 1 year and 90 days.
