If I am involved in a motor vehicle accident what should I do.

A: 1. Make sure the Police are called to the scene.  Be sure that the officer takes down your version of how the accident happened.
2. If you are injured or think that you may be, request an ambulance to take you to a hospital so that you may may be thoroughly evaluated.
3. When speaking to any medical personnel either at a hospitlal or private provider, make sure that they have taken a through and correct history, as well as documented all of your complaints.
4. If you are still experiencing pain after an accident be sure to follow up with proper medical care.
5. If possible, phtographs of damage to your vehicle should be obtained as soon as possible as well as copies of any estimates/ and or repair bills.
