Kelly A. Stokes recently joined the firm. She has extensive experience with all types of personal injury matters and litigation. Prior to Mallilo & Grossman, Ms. Stokes worked for several large firms handling the defense of high exposure personal injury cases. After seven years of working for insurance companies, Ms Stokes gained valuable knowledge about the manner in which insurance companies evaluate, settle, and defend cases. Now, as plaintiff's counsel, Ms. Stokes uses her knowledge to win cases for her clients.

Ms. Stokes also has extensive experience handling complex cases such as civil rights cases, foster care abuse cases, nursing home abuse cases, labor law cases, trucking accidents, dram shop cases, elevator cases, and wrongful deaths cases. She has significant experience litigating in both state and federal courts.

She is also very familiar with the manner in which judges decide cases. In fact, she serves as a volunteer arbitrator with the New York City Civil Court where she hears and resolves small claims cases on a part time basis.

Ms. Stokes graduated from Plattsburgh State University and received her Bachelor or Arts in Psychology in 1998. She subsequently received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in June 2002. She is admitted to practice law in New York State courts and in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
